THREE OAKS RETREAT
Three Oaks, Michigan

Sited on a 30 acre abandoned tree farm, the Three Oaks Retreat consists of a main house, a detached guest house and a 100 year old relocated timber frame barn.

The project features a palette of sustainable materials, including reclaimed heavy timber framing and regionally harvested stone. Radiant floor heat was used throughout to provide ultimate comfort during the harsh Midwestern winter months, while reducing the demand on energy consumption.

The retreat was designed as an urban escape for the owners who sought a rural destination of comfort and relaxation.
